Hawazin Al Otaibi is a London-based Saudi-American interdisciplinary artist, curator, DJ, and music producer. Her practice examines the notions of gender, masculinity, and self-representation on social media in the fast changing cultural and political dynamics in the Arab world - specifically the GCC.

Her research compromises collecting photographs from social media platforms and gender portrayal imagery from cultural and religious books. This exploration is expressed through distortions and glitches in her multi-media work and paintings.
